Overview
Allegheny Steel Distributors, Inc. is a diversified metals processor specializing in prime and non-prime hot rolled carbon steel sheet
and coil. We are based ten miles northeast of Pittsburgh in Indianola, Pennsylvania.
History
Allegheny Steel Distributors was founded in 1972 and moved to its present location in 1981. Since then we have enlarged our plant and
office space four times and have added a separate maintenance facility. The most recent addition expanded our sales, shipping and
receiving departments and provided space for our new 3/8" Herr-Voss cut-to-length line. We presently occupy over 100,000 square
feet on 9 acres of property.
Products and Services
We have long recognized the need for dependable service and timely delivery of cut lengths, sheared to size blanks, and slit coil. We
process prime, excess prime, and non-prime Hot Rolled, HR Pickled and Oiled, Cold Rolled and Galvanized material.

We currently service a significant portion of the United States (See Map Below). Our customer base serves most of the major markets
including: Containers, Recreational Vehicles, Service Centers, Tanks, Job Shops, Buildings, Fence Posts, Agriculture, Lasers, Furnaces,
Batteries, Trailers, Material Handling Equipment, Rail and Racks/Conveyors.
